Teddy Bears Picnic

This popular annual event was held in the Rectory garden on Thursday 13th September 2007. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon enjoyed by 18 children and lots of grown ups.

We were entertained by "Howdydoodat" with his balloon modelling. There was also a treasure hunt with stickers for prizes and a teddy bears' parade. Balloons in the shape of a motorbike and a bunch of flowers were awarded to Ellie and Owain for the most loved teddies. The event ended with the children squeezing into the gazebo for story time.

The collection raised £29.80 for The Children's Society.
