In addition to our regular Sunday morning Discoverers sessions and monthly Service of the word, to which all young people are welcome, more youth activities are planned over the forthcoming months. Events will include free film shows, a toddlers' party, live music and Easter fun on Good Friday. Look out for adverts in Ashwell News, posters around the village or check out the St Mary's web site to find out what's happening and when.

The raffle for fair trade chocolates raised £30 for Action Aid which will help Rahinatu, our sponsored child who lives in Ghana. The sale of drinks and snacks raised £20 for the church. I would like to thank Harriet, Katrina and Antje for helping with the preparations and Sarah, Martin, Michelle, Yvonne, Jackie, Nicky and Phil for their help on the night.
