Sunday Afternoon Teas

A small band of enthusiastic servers and bakers provide delicious teas in the Parish Church Room every Sunday between 2:30pm-5:00pm from mid-April until the end of September.

Ashwell is en route for many cycling clubs, whose members are always welcome - their appetites for tea and cake seem insatiable! Sunday teas are also popular with many local residents, who enjoy meeting friends over a cup of tea.

Money raised from Sunday afternoon teas makes a substantial contribution to the restoration fund for St.Mary's Church. The benefit, however, is not one-sided - the people we meet invaribly enrich our lives.

The tradition of 'Sunday afternoon teas in Ashwell' is made possible by the volunteer team who cheerfully serve and/or make cakes. Help with baking and serving is always welcome. If you can help, please contact Rosemary 74730.

Thank you for everyone who helped this year with the Sunday Teas, Bakers & Servers! We raised a total of £ 460.39 for the Church Restoration Fund.
